What we do and how we do it.

Our advocates and affiliate special education attorneys are with you throughout the entire process. Our purpose is to assist families in obtaining appropriate education services for children with special needs.

Our process begins with an in-depth case-assessment. All new clients have a face-to-face meeting with Susan Luger Associates Director Natasha Chase. Next, a thorough review of the documents provided by the family takes place. Then, at a follow-up conference, we will discuss next steps and the viability of your case.

If the case is viable and you feel we are the team for you, SLA will proceed with its unique 3-Phased Approach.

Our support at the CSE level and during litigation or settlement is unprecedented. Our staff is always available to answer your questions and address your concerns. You and your child will be treated as individuals, as personal clients and family, and not just as a case number.

SLA will work with you through all necessary steps in the CSE process.

This includes:

  • tracking the process
  • coordination of expert reports
  • navigating the CSE meeting
  • evaluating the subsequent IEP and services

If the CSE does not provide a satisfactory solution for your child, SLA is never reluctant to follow the path to litigation.
