Krista is a dedicated Special Education Advocate with extensive experience in educational leadership. Before joining Susan Luger Associates, Krista served as an Assistant Principal overseeing programs for students in grades K-8. Part of her responsibilities included ensuring compliance with special education regulations and fostering inclusive practices.  

Prior to this, she was the Lead Special Education Teacher where she focused on enhancing the quality and compliance of IEPs for students in grades K-5. In this capacity, she mentored fellow Special Education teachers, elevating standards and practices throughout the district.

With a commitment to empowering families, Krista actively engages with parents and stakeholders, helping them navigate the complexities of special education. Her passion lies in creating equitable learning environments that prioritize student growth and success for all children.

Krista has a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
